The Digital Comics service on PSN goes live later today. It will only allow you to read comics on your PSP but that may change in the future.
"Agree that it would be great to be able to view comics on PS3," Digital Comics product manager Mayuma Donovan stated in the comments section of PlayStation.Blog in response to reader inquiries. "We do not have a plan at the moment but we are looking into it."
Obviously the PS3's technology is up to the task, and gamers would probably like the option of reading these comics on a larger screen if they're at home. It's probably just a matter of licenses and other sexy legal stuff.
