Persona 3 Portable is a remake of a PS2 game from three years back so many of you might already be familiar with it. Those of you who aren't, though, should check out the new trailer.
In Persona 3, you play a student investigating the Dark Hour, a secret hour that falls between one day and the next. During the Dark Hour, you and the other members of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad must battle the Shadows that feed on people's minds. The way you fight them is by summoning beings known as Personas.
Portable adds new music, battle mechanics, and a playable female protagonist. The new female character results in a few changes to the game's story. Additionally, the game interface has been optimized for the PSP.
The game will be released in North America on July 6th, 2010.
