Nintendo has once again enlisted Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica for a commercial. This time the sisters are promoting Professor Layton and The Miracle Mask, the 3DS adventure game arriving in the West in the coming days.
In Miracle Mask, Professor Layton and his companions have traveled to Monte d'Or. The city is being terrorized by the Masked Gentleman. In order to unravel the mystery of this villain, the Professor must solve a variety of puzzles.
The premise of the ad is quite simple: the sisters love the crap out of Professor Layton. They can't stop playing. Even when Penelope's on the set of her new film, she can't stop thinking about the game's puzzles.
This is the second Nintendo ad starring the Cruz sisters. Monica and Penelope previously appeared in a commercial for New Super Mario Bros. 2. It ended, as many good ads do, with cross-dressing.
Miracle Mask arrived in Japan way back in February 2011. It will debut in Europe, Australia and North America on October 26th, 27th and 28th respectively.
