Project X Zone Coming To Nintendo 3DS This Summer

Namco Bandai has recently announced that the crossover battle game featuring legendary characters, warriors, fighters and video game icons from the illustrious libraries of Sega, Namco and Capcom will butt heads in furious strategic action this summer for North American gamers, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
Carlson Choi, VP of marketing at Namco Bandai Games America, commented in the press release about the North American release window, saying..
“Project X Zone is the first title to ever combine such a large cast of characters from a varied list of game franchises into one grand adventure,” ... “Developing a cohesive game and storyline to encompass all of these great characters and their battle-styles was a huge challenge that has paid off greatly with the creation of a truly unique and groundbreaking gaming experience.”
The tentatively named Project X Zone will give gamers a lot of what they had always hoped for over the years, the opportunity to control a non-child molester version of Mega Man and pair him with Toma and Cyrille, or you know, classic Virtua Fighter and Tekken characters working hand in hand to stop the spread of evil that has come through a rift in the fabric of time and space.
Project X Zone will mark yet another cool exclusive for the Nintendo 3DS, so if you haven't pledged allegiance to the Big 'N' yet, there's still time.
You can look for Project X Zone to launch this summer, presumably just after this year's bound-to-be-explosive E3, where heads will roll and pants, underwear and all things below the waist will be soiled for years to come.
