Razer has released a new Xbox 360 gamepad for competitive players. The Sabertooth Elite Controller offers 360 owners a possible competitive edge for multiplayer. It ain't cheap, though.
The Razer Sabertooth features two additional shoulder buttons, as well as two switches on the bottom of the controller. The six multi-function buttons can be reprogrammed at will. You can switch through the different customization profiles using the built-in OLED screen.
The Sabertooth also features more subtle "upscale" features, such as a braided fiber cable with quick release. The body of the controller has a non-slip rubber surface. It comes with a carrying case too, to avoid any travel damage.
The controller is priced at $79.99, making much pricier than the standard gamepad. It's catered toward the eSports crowd, or anyone who takes their games really seriously. You know who you are.
You can purchase the Sabertooth through Razer's online store. If you already own the company's other 360 controllers - the Razer Onza or Onza TE - you can buy the Sabertooth at a discount.
