Well, guess we won't have to wait until December 1st to see that new Red Dead Redemption trailer, after all. The trailer was leaked to the Internet today and it announces the game's release date.
As previously announced, the video is entitled "My Name is John Marston." It introduces the protagonist, who is looking to capture the outlaw Bill Williamson. Williamson is apparently his "former brother in arms," so Marston's no saint, either. Glad to hear it; law-abiding heroes can be pretty boring.
At the end of the trailer, it states that the game will be released on April 27th, 2010. Presumably this is the global release date but we'll know for sure when Tuesday rolls around.
Update: The trailer below's been taken down off Youtube by Take Two. We'd host it ourselves but don't really feel like getting slapped around by lawyers on Thanksgiving.
