To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., Nintendo is preparing to release special bundles for the Wii and DSi XL. Both will arrive in stores on November 7th.
The red Wii bundle comes with a new Wii Remote Plus controller as well as a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Nintendo's throwing in Wii Sports and a red Nunchuk, too. Like a standard Wii, this package will cost $199.99.
The red DSiXL has mushroom, star, and flower icons on its case. It comes with Mario Kart DS in addition to three bits of pre-loaded software: Brain Age Express: Arts and Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock. The bundle can be yours for $179.99.
The Wii Remote Plus controller, if you're wondering, is a Wiimote with built-in Motion Plus technology. It will be the standard Wii controller for all bundles moving forward. Starting November 7th, they can be purchased separately for $39.99. You can also buy it bundled with the pinball-like FlingSmash for $49.99.
