Remember Me Combo Fighting Gameplay Walkthrough From TGS 2012
Capcom and Dontnod Entertainment's upcoming third-person sci-fi action-drama, Remember Me, isn't all about resurrecting memories and screwing around with other people's thoughts. There's an elaborate fighting system involved and Dontnod's creative director gives gamers a walkthrough of how to utilize Nilin's Combo Lab abilities.
So far, Capcom has been letting loose elongated videos of various features for Remember Me. After covering the game's memory-rape feature and some boss-type encounters, the newest trailer focuses on the actual combat and combo mechanics. You can check it out below.
Capcom has a wishy-washy relationship with its loyal fanbase right now, but you at least have to give them props for stepping outside of their comfort zone. They seem to have a mixture of unique games to their publishing palette as of late, including Dragon's Dogma, Steel Battalion and E.X. Troopers.
Remember Me is a risky venture for the company given that it could just as easily be a hit as it could a miss. Certain features like the memory-rape thing seems a little trite and QTE-ish. But the combo lab looks tight. The idea of mixing and matching moves that best suit your play style and fighting fetish seems neat.
I have no idea if Dontnod will deliver with Remember Me. It's a wildly ambitious project and we'll have to keep our eyes on it to see how it progresses. For more info feel free to visit the Official Facebook Page.
