The enemies of Left 4 Dead 2 invade Resident Evil 6 and the heroes from Left 4 Dead 2 also make an appearance in Capcom's zombie-survival shooter. The trailer is surprisingly well polished and I was a bit shocked to see how well the Left 4 Dead 2 crew mesh with the environment and atmosphere from Resident Evil 6.
Capcom is aiming to increase their relationship with PC gamers while also hoping to regain some brownie points with Resident Evil fans by offering gamers free content in the upcoming PC release of the third-person shooter. Yes, that's right, all the Left 4 Dead 2 modded conversions will be free content for PC gamers just for being PC gamers.
Resident Evil 6 sees the return of a lot of threats featured through previous games and has players taking on three distinct campaigns that span the globe. There are six playable characters, including Wesker's somewhat superhuman son, a multitude of guns to pick up and play with, and plenty of bosses to face off against. Some of the criticisms of the game were mixed. The game also won several 4Chan awards.
