If you pick up Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D for the 3DS, you'll get a chance to try out the next RE game on that system as well. Mercenaries 3D will ship with a demo for Resident Evil: Revelations.
Revelations takes place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. RE1 protagonists Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine have formed the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, a counterterrorism group undertaking missions around the globe. In the demo, Jill explores an ocean liner and battles the creatures that have taken up residence there.
Mercenaries 3D will be released in the coming months. Revelations' release window hasn't been announced yet. Further details on that game will be provided at E3 this summer.
