Riot Brings Pulse-Pounding Riot Simulation To Steam Greenlight
It's not often we get poignant games made with an atmosphere and design mechanic that will harness the stature of your soul and bring your very being down to its knees, but when it happens it usually happens in a big way. Riot could be one of those games, as it's not just a riot simulator, it's a chance to indulge your inner anarchy or satiate your thirst for complete control.
Riot, based on a lot of real-life events, is being made by a small Italian team named Riot, and it's currently seeking funding on IndieGoGo, the alternative to Kickstarter. The game has a modest $15,000 goal and is already approaching the $10,000 mark. With 19 days left on their campaign, it's a pretty safe bet to say that the game will be funded.
But you're not here to read about budget goals and potential, you want to see the game in action and you want to feel the heat from the burning fires of enraged citizens and the steel resolve of the men and women who have to keep them in their place. Watch and be impressed.
It looks so profoundly entertaining. Despite having 16-bit style graphics, there's a very strong artistic direction that the game has that gives it an identity all its own.
I'd love to see more gameplay of this title and I'm sure we'll be getting a lot more of it once it hits its IndieGoGo goal. For now, you can give this game a little bit of attention and time by visiting the Official Greenlight Page. If you'd like to donate or learn more about the project, be sure to visit the IndieGoGo Page.
