The Achievements are mostly what you'd expect from an open-world action game. You're being rewarded for killing lots of people in a range of ways. There's also plenty of Achievements for players willing to hunt down every little collectible and side mission.
The mention of a "Score Attack" mode is interesting, though. I guess these are standalone challenges that players can play and replay in hopes of topping the leaderboards. If so, that'll be the closest thing Rise has to multiplayer.
Here are the other 10 Achievements you'll unlock at key story moments throughout Lara's new adventure. Don't read them if you want to avoid spoilers:
- A Helping Hand - Defend the Remnants from the Trinity invasion
- Following in Father’s Footsteps - Enter the Syrian tomb of the Lost Prophet
- Quite A Tumble - Survive the avalanche
- Strange Acquaintance - Rescue Jacob from the gulag
- Taking the High Road - Light the signal fire in the Remnant Valley
- The Chosen Few - Uncover the remains of all Jacob’s disciples
- The Key To It All - Recover the Atlas
- The Road Less Travelled - Unlock the path to Kitezh
- Tougher Than She Looks - Survive a night in the Siberian wilderness

Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch on November 10th in North America and November 13th in Europe for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The much-demanded PC and PS4 versions are expected sometime in 2016.
