Rockstar is set to unveil another trailer for L.A. Noire on Monday. However, it seems the trailer was leaked early and revealed the game's release date.
According to Joystiq, the leaked trailer said the mystery game would be released on May 17th. The video has since been taken off YouTube, though. Might be a couple duplicates floating around but Take-Two's shutting them down pretty quick.
If you'll recall, the exact same thing happened with Red Dead Redemption too. They planned to reveal the release date in a trailer and it hit the web a few days in advance. That sort of thing makes me wonder whether this was an actual leak or if Rockstar does it on purpose just to generate some buzz ("Was the leaked trailer a FAKE?!" and so on). Either way, we should find out if this is the real release date on Monday.
