Saints Row: The Third And Gods Eater Burst Team Up On PS Plus Today

The PlayStation Plus train keeps on rolling this week with two brand new additions to the Instant Game Collection, including Saints Row: The Third for the PlayStation 3 and Gods Eatur Burst for the PSP/Vita.
We announced waaay back at the start of the month that Saints Row: The Third would be joining the PlayStation Plus lineup, just in time for those who haven't played the game to dive into its vast and insane world well before the latest entry in the series, Saints Row IV, makes an appearance.
In Saints Row: The Third, you take on the roll of leader of the most notorious gang on the planet. Gangsters are like celebrities in this world, though, which means energy drink deals, clothing lines, starring in movies, the works. As a result, several rival games seem to think that the once unstoppable Saints have gone soft, leading them to try to push in on your territory. Your job is to push back, and you'll be able to do that by just about any means imaginable. The game is a glorious sandbox of crime and fun, packed with entertaining distractions and loads of missions around every corner.
Next up is Gods Eater Burst for the PSP and PlayStation Vita. Missing from the original roster for the month, Gods Eater was eventually dropped in when Ogre Attack wasn't quite going to be ready for prime time. A “hunter” game, the player will be able to team up with friends, equip massive weapons and helpful gear, and destroy giant monsters one by one.
That'll about do it for this week. If you're still looking for more portable content come next week, keep your eye out for the final Plus addition of the month as Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward gets thrown into the mix. For more details on this week's games, hit up the PlayStation Blog.
