Saints Row The Third: Syndication Trailer Aims For Coolest Of The Year

THQ and Volition have taken a completely dark-humored, comedic approach to the open-world genre with the Saints Row series. Well, the newest trailer for Saints Row The Third is a more serious than the previous trailers and gives players a slightly larger scope of what the Saints will be dealing with in the third game.

The trailer is definitely filled to the brim with cool, especially the opening sequence with the head-honchos of the Saints dressed up like Johnny Gat and robbing a bank. The only problem is that the group robs from the wrong mofos and then everything goes downhill from there. The trailer sees our heroes get captured, fight back, make an impossible escape and then wreck all kinds of havoc from there up until the end of the trailer. It’s some awesome stuff and easily gets itself nominated for the coolest gameplay trailer of the year.
