Shoot Many Robots Shows Off Limbo Mode In New Video
Demiurge Studios released a new behind-the-scenes video of their upcoming action-oriented platformer, Shoot Many Robots. The video shows off a lot of the various lighting and visual modes for how the designers are fixing up the game as well as how some of the design schemes could actually benefit gamers.
In the video, a lot of the gameplay footage is put on display with a ton of robots getting absolutely demolished by the jet-pack wearing hero. Not only this but the video also shows off how some of the visual modes used for debugging may actually make it into the game as possible unlockable content, including one mode that the team calls the Limbo Mode. Check it out for yourself in the video below.
I kind of like behind-the-scenes videos like this. Although, it did make me question how they would be able to gather any kind of data in some of those visual modes when you really couldn't even make out what was on the screen and where some of the entities started and where some of them ended. Still, it's a fascinating art nonetheless and surprisingly the game looked pretty fun despite the fact that it was sort of playing second fiddle to the visual modes on display.
You can look for Shoot Many Robots to land on digital store shelves for the Xbox 360 and PS3 sometime early in 2012. And from the looks of it no PC version is in the works but that's probably because Ubisoft hates PC gamers. For further info on the game feel free to visit the Official Website.
