A new gameplay trailer for Silent Hill: Book of Memories hit the web today courtesy of Konami. It re-confirms the fall release window for the game, suggesting that it won't suffer another delay.
Book was supposed to arrive this March. However, Konami decided not to release it due to "timing and development" concerns. They said at the time that they were targeting an October launch. The trailer today simply says "Fall 2012."
The Vita-exclusive game takes the series into the action genre. Up to four players team up to battle monsters. In a break with series tradition, players can create their own custom character
The co-op and isometric perspective also make the game look like Diablo. However, Book has some puzzle segments as well. Maybe that'll be enough to give the experience a Silent Hill flavor.
