EA Play announced a new expansion pack for The Sims 3 today. The Sims 3 Generations will be released for the PC and Mac on May 31st.
Generations takes you through the various stages of your Sim's life. The expansion starts in childhood with dance classes, imaginary friends, and tree houses. In your Sim's teenage years, they can pull pranks, become prom king or queen, and have a party while their parents are out of town. When your Sim becomes an adult, they'll attend or plan weddings and bachelor/bachelorette parties. They can even experience a mid-life crisis.
The expansion gives you a few different ways to express your creativity too. Tinkering with a new chemistry set will have unexpected results, like turning you into a ghost. You can also make your own home movies of your Sims' life with in-game cameras and then upload them to TheSims3.com and Facebook.
EA sent along the box art and first trailer for the game. Both are below.
