Six Flags Enters Social Gaming Arena With Facebook

Seems like everyone is getting in on the social gaming network craze, so why not Six Flags? For anyone who still thinks gaming is nothing more than a yellow blob that eats crackers to the rhythm of chip-tuned blips and blops will probably find the new Six Flags online gaming zone cool.
Mike Antinoro, Executive VP of Marketing and Entertainment commented in the press release, saying…
“The Six Flags brand stands for fun and unparalleled thrills and the introduction of Six Flags Mascot Park brings that signature experience to the virtual reality world,” … “We want to offer fans a forum to entertain, amuse and interact while also recognizing the importance of integrating a unique experience to the online community.”
Six Flags Mascot Park is about gamers creating shows for friends and earning some rep by putting on good shows. Using the money earned from the shows allows for the purchase of new set pieces, moves and everything else in between, including special effects and pranks.
I’m sure the Facebook masses will flock to a casual crowd pleaser like this. Six Flags Mascot Park will go live June 28th. For more info be sure to visit the Official Website.
