Soul Calibur V Arcade Fight Stick Soul Edition Announced

Namco Bandai and MadCatz have joined together once again for a collaborative fight-stick venture, this time for the upcoming Soul Calibur V. The new arcade fight stick from Madcatz for Soul Calibur V is called the Fight Stick Soul Edition and it will be arriving just in time for the game’s launch on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, shared a few thoughts about the Fight Stick, saying…
“The FightStick product category continues to perform well for us globally and the addition of the popular SOULCALIBUR franchise leverages both our brand and market leadership.” … “Leveraging licenses on a global basis is part of our long term growth strategy to build our worldwide business.”
Hopefully the Soul Edition Fight Stick is a quality ridden peripheral that lasts longer than most of other MadCatz’ controllers.
If you’re interested in playing Soul Calibur V the way it was meant to be played (like an arcade game, of course) then you can look for the officially licensed MadCatz Arcade Fight Stick Soul Edition to launch in early January, 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
