Star Wars: The Old Republic Features 1000 Voices

BioWare recently released a new developer documentary for Star Wars: The Old Republic. The new vid doc features a lengthy walkthrough of why the team decided to use as many voice actors as possible and why every character has a voice in the game.

While the development costs for this game must be sky-rocketing through the roof, BioWare seems to be trucking on as if it’s just a pleasure to be working on yet another Knights of the Old Republic game. As they explain in the documentary, not only do they have voices for every character (and character class) but they also have alternate cinematics and voice-interaction sequences for different party members. So if you’re a smuggler and a Jedi you might get a different response from an NPC as opposed to being a bounty hunter and a smuggler. Seems insane, eh?

Well, gamers who would like to check out how BioWare did it and why it was so important for them to have a fully-voiced MMORPG for Star Wars, then check out the new developer documentary below, as seen on GameTrailers.
