Star Wars Tables Added To Zen Pinball 2 Today
Zen Pinball 2 is ready to take gamers to a galaxy far, far away with the release of three new tables modeled after various branches of the Star Wars mythos. Look for this latest DLC pack to arrive on the PlayStation Network this afternoon for $9.99.
For those unfamiliar with the Zen line on pinball tables, they offer a mix of mechanics and play fields that could theoretically be found in the real world with animated and moving bits that you could never actually recreate on a pin table. It's a pretty exciting combination making for some out of this world pinball fun and, today, three Star Wars themed tables are joining the collection.
On offer are three tables including Star Wars: Episode V-The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett and the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Here's a glimpse at that last one, posted today on the PlayStation Blog.
All three tables will be bundled together starting today for $9.99. In case you missed this super sweet feature, Zen Pinball 2 can actually be downloaded free of charge. From there, you can try a demo of each and every table they've published to see if you like it before making the purchase. So if these newest additions look like a good time, you can always take them for a test drive once PSN updates this afternoon.
This pack is the first in a series of Star Wars DLC that will be coming to Zen Pinball 2 in the coming months. Another seven tables are already currently in production. All Star Wars tables are also cross-buy, which means you can pick them up for $9.99 on either the PS3 or Vita and download them at no extra charge on the other console. In short, these ARE the pinball tables you were looking for.
