Born Ready Games' indie venture, Strike Suit Zero, has gone a rather interesting route leading up to its release. While it was originally being promoted for an early 2013 release for consoles and PC, things hit a bit of a change-up when the project hit a financial snag and required crowd-funding to help them get to the finish line.
Born Ready now has a new release date in mind for Strike Suit Zero as the game managed to meet its Kickstarter funding goal and is now in full development production mode. The newly cemented release date of January 24th means that the space-arcade title is just a few months out from release and you won't have to wait long to get your hands on the title.
James Brooksby, CEO of Born Ready Games, commented about the successful Kickstarter, saying...
“We are truly grateful for all the support we’ve received and above all else want to thank the community. Their support has meant we’re now able to make the game we’d always envisioned, and we can't wait for our fans to get their hands on the game.”
Following up on the release of the game on PC, Born Ready also plans to unleash the title on home consoles as well, as a sub-platform release on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
For those of you who pledged more than $50 to the Kickstarter, you'll be able to participate in the game's upcoming beta event planned to get underway this December. You can learn more about Strike Suit Zero by paying a visit to the game's Official Website.
