Super Mario Galaxy 2.5 Trailer And Demo Released

(Update: The team behind the SMG 2.5 hack is not EEAi but simply a small group who worked on the hack. New website link is at the bottom of the article.)
Fancy a new Super Mario Galaxy game before the Wii U launches? Well, EEAi (Editing Entertainment Action Incorporated) has released a new game trailer for a hacked version of Super Mario Galaxy 2, featuring brand new content or redone content to bring gamers an awesome new gameplay experience.
EEAi is an independent company that works mostly on modified or hacked Nintendo games. I usually thought Nintendo was quick to shut these kind of things down, but considering that you still need a legit copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2, a Nintendo Wii and an SD card, this hack still encourages gamers to go out and support Nintendo. So I guess all is well?
You can check out the gameplay of Super Mario Galaxy 2.5 below.
For those of you all giddy with excitement and joy and geeked to play this latest rendition of Super Mario Galaxy 2.5, be sure to check out the links at the bottom to explain how to install this bad boy.
As mentioned, you'll still need a working Wii, the Homebrew Riivolution, an SD card or USB drive and a legit copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2.
EEAi has a full list of instructions on how to get the whole thing working as well as links to the full downloads right here on their YouTube Page. I don't know if this is the sort of mod that could help reignite Wii sales just before the Wii U launches, but it might do a fair bit to keep Nintendo's console in the spotlight a bit longer. You can learn more at their official website.
