Surgeon Simulator 2013 Launches On Steam
Games we just don't get enough of is surgery simulators. I mean, when was the last time we got to practice neurosurgery for good measure? And with all the shooting games out there, when was the last time (other than Far Cry 2) did we get to pull bullets out of open wounds? Well, with Surgeon Simulator 2013, you can do all that and more.
Removing body parts, flicking them around, brushing them off, slicing them up, cutting them down, sticking them here and sticking them there is all part of the fun in Surgeon Simulator 2013. Handle spleens and livers, kidneys and hearts and everything else in between.
If you have a weak stomach for this sort of stuff, perhaps the game will help ease the quease as you shuffle around in the sack full of bloody organs known as a flesh suit.
The game was originally part of the Steam Greenlight procedure, and gamers loved the idea so much that they decided it deserved a spot on Steam's store. Lo and behold, the good folks at Valve acknowledged the votes and approved the game for Steam Store induction and now, today, you can pick up a digital copy of the title for the low, low price of only $6.99 thanks to a launch week discount.
With an intense soundtrack, glove-less surgeon-based gameplay, enough gore to make Soap McTavish squirm with squeamishness and more cutting, snipping and sawing than Hostel, Saw and The Collector combined, Surgeon Simulator 2013 is the perfect game for anyone looking to learn a little bit about real-life surgery and just how fun it can be.
