Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron Now Available
While we let you know yesterday that the game would be available today, today we're letting you know that the wait is over and the sequel to one of the very best Transformers games ever made has found its way onto store shelves and digital e-tailer catalogs for home consoles and PC. That's right, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is now available for consumer consumption.
Activision's third-person action-vehicle romp featuring the Autobots, Decepticons, Combaticons and Dinobots sees players battling on the warground that is now Cybertron. The entire fate of the planet rests in the hands of players and despite already knowing that Cybertron falls and falls hard, this story helps bring to light exactly how it all transpired in an epic showdown between the Autobots and Decepticons.
Being as forward-thinking as they are, Activision already let loose the official launch trailer for the game that we tossed up a few days ago, which you can also view below to get a brief idea of what to expect from your adventures on a planet where giant scraps of metal transform into galactic space warriors.
As showcased in the video, the multiplayer takes a big leap up in terms of content and customization over the original game. Players have a lot more pieces and parts to unlock and add to their Transformer, as well as tons of weapons to utilize while battling in team deathmatch, domination, escalation or capture the flag.
One of the best parts about the game is the improved melee. I'm curious to see how well it plays out during multiplayer, but it looks righteously sick for the single-player content. You can pick up a copy of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron right now for the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC for $59.99 along with multiplayer day-1 DLC...if that's your thing.
