Jagex Games Studios issued a gameplay trailer for their MMORPG Transformers Universe this weekend. It provides abundant in-game footage of both the Decepticons and Autobots.
The MMO lets players join either the Autobots or the Decepticons. They can then customize their character with a variety of parts. The bots are organized into different classes with distinct abilities. For example, Brawlers are beefy Transformers with high resilience and strong melee abilities.
Universe takes place in the Transformers: Prime timeline. In Prime, Decepticons and Autobots have both arrived on Earth and are now battling for dominance. Players will interact with high-profile characters from the cartoon, including Megatron and Optimus Prime.
Jagex is preparing Universe for a 2013 release.
