Trine Developer, Frozenbyte, Working On New IP
If you're a fan of the platform, action-based, puzzle RPG, Trine, then you'll probably get a little giddy, mushy and liquidity inside knowing that Frozenbyte Interactive is working on a brand new IP for multiple platforms.
The news comes courtesy of XBLA Fans, who revealed that Frozenbyte's marketing director Mikael Haveri let the news slip in addition to revealing more about the upcoming DLC pack for Trine 2.
At this year's Game Developers Conference, Haveri revealed that six brand new stages are on the way for Trine 2, and that the DLC will also contain a brand new story. If you're going to do post-launch DLC this is definitely how you do it, unlike a certain other company.
The game is exceptionally well done and the graphics and animation for the game are absolutely top notch. If you're looking for a nice platform title to play Trine is definitely the way to go.
As for this mysterious new IP coming out from Frozenbyte, it will be interesting to see what the game will be but I'm almost positive we'll get some kind of a snazzy reveal come E3. We'll keep you posted when more info becomes available.
