Vanguard Princess Ready To Pummel English-Speaking Fighter Fans
Vanguard Princess originally released in Japan back in 2009, winning over fighting fans worldwide with its beautiful graphics and fast-paced action. Now eigoManga has finally localized the game, bringing an enhanced version of Vanguard Princess to English speaking fight fans the world over.
This latest edition of Vanguard Princess is available through Amazon, Gamersgate and CNET for five bucks. This enhanced version of the game includes reformatted anime visuals and cut scenes, as well as updated gameplay mechanics to offer the smoothest fighting experience possible.
Vanguard Princess features an all-female cast of 10 playable characters, each with their own fighting style and special moves. Players can also pick an “assistant” to take into battle and lend a hand. Finding your favorite combination of fighter and assistant is half of the fun. The game offers a full Story Mode, as well as the ability to play in head-to-head battles in Versus Mode.
Here’s a snippet taken from a statement from eigoManga explaining the game’s appropriately bizarre backstory:
“Government experiments on a young girl triggered a cosmic shock wave that gifted many young girls with mystical powers,” the statement reads. “The girl re-emerges into the world and vows to destroy all of mankind in an act of revenge. A brave group of girls who embraced their powers venture out to confront her; not just for the sake of the world, but to pursue their own personal motives and dreams.”
This latest version of Vanguard Princess is available now. For more details, to check out a demo or to purchase a copy for $5, head on over to the game’s official website.
