
A wise woman once said, "If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it." Well, Warner Bros. was so pleased with Batman: Arkham Asylum's commercial and critical success that they've purchased a majority stake in its developer, Rocksteady Studios.
"Rocksteady demonstrated its professionalism and extraordinary development abilities with Batman: Arkham Asylum," said Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group president Kevin Tsujihara. "This arrangement is a great strategic fit and we are very pleased to solidify our relationship with this talented development team."
Warner Bros.' Interactive Entertainment division co-published Arkham along with Eidos. The press release claims that over three million copies have been sold worldwide. Rocksteady announced at the Spike VGAs that they are now developing a sequel.
