Weekly Recap: The Game Awards 2014 Nominees Revealed And 5 Other Big Stories
Geoff Keighley has returned this year with a brand new video game awards show following the hilariously failed experiment that was the VGX Awards in 2013. It will forever go down in history as the show that Joel McHale co-opted from the uninterested and unamused Geoff Keighley. Could we possibly see the same thing this year? Possibly. Then again, it might actually aim to be decent; we'll have to wait and see.
Additionally, Running With Scissors is remaking Postal on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4. There 's a ton of money being put up for one of the buried copies of the E.T., cartridges that was stuffed into the desert of New Mexico, and Super Smash Bros. has taken everyone by surprise with one of the highest Metacritic scores around. The classic from the mid-1990s is making a return... that's right, Postal is coming back bigger and better than ever thanks to the Unreal Engine 4. Warlords of Draenor Recovers WoW's Subscriptions
If you thought World of Warcraft had lost its luster with the MMO audience, think again. The new Warlords of Draenor expansion has pushed the MMO back up to 10 million subscribers. Defiance has gone free-to-play over on the Xbox 360 (for those who still play the game). Ubisoft is working hard to fix the frame-rate issues in Assassin's Creed Unity. A limited demo trial of Destiny has been made available... for free. Bungie has unveiled a new expansion for Destiny called the Dark Below. A new party-pack has been announced for PS4 owners. An interesting new MMO is in the works for the PS4 called Wander... you'll want to check out why this game is so unique. And we round things off with the Wii U showing that it can pull out some impressive graphical feats when compared to the PS4.

PSN and Windows Live accounts have allegedly been hacked, all for the greater good, of course. Valve has overhauled the Early Access platform following IGN doing a bit of investigative legwork, and the new Hearthstone features could be a real game changer.
