Weekly Recap: Hatred's Steam Controversy And 5 Other Eye-Opening Stories
There was a huge thing that happened earlier in the week when Destructive Creations' Hatred was originally removed and banned from Steam Greenlight, but then was returned when Valve's president Gabe Newell personally stepped in, apologized to the devs and restored the game to Greenlight. Hatred became the number-one game on Steam Greenlight with support from free-speech advocates and gamers alike.
The rest of the week carried on and about in typical fashion, with news about Sony's new Vue beta prepping to get underway, as well as Rockstar finally unveiling details for GTA Online's long-awaited heists. PlayStation Vue Beta Invites Sent Out
TV on your TV is the new norm for home consoles and Sony wants to take it to the next level with PlayStation Vue. There's a brand spanking new mod for Skyrim that's well worth checking out, see what all the rave is right here. Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have some new DLC planned for The Evil Within, and it kicks off in early 2015 with The Assignment. Warner Bros and Rocksteady have a new comic book on the horizon for Batman: Arkham Knight that works as a prequel for the upcoming game. Some new footage of Street Fighter V has been released. Hatred Removed From Steam Greenlight
After being added to Steam Greenlight, the press exploded on the game Hatred, resulting in Valve removing the game later in the day. CD Projekt RED explains the second playable character in The Witcher 3. Riptor is making a return in Season 2 of Killer Instinct on the Xbox One.
