Weekly Recap Jan 7th: God Of War IV, Coolest Game Trailers, XCOM Rebooted Again
We've finally finished the very first week of 2012 and boy what a week it was. Not only did we get huge announcements for unexpected games, but there were also plenty of surprises as well. If the first week of 2012 is anything to go by, then we're going to be in for a real wild ride for the rest of the year. Things kicked off early in the week with our collective list of trailers deemed the coolest throughout 2011, this was quickly followed by news all but confirming the next installment of God of War IV. Later in the week Fireaxis and 2K announced another rebooted version of X-Com this time called XCOM: Enemy Unknown. And a brand new post-apocalyptic FPS called Ravaged is on the way. If you haven't already seen it you'll probably want to check out the brand new arcade debut trailer for Square Enix' title that sees gamers taking control of car manufacturer's top cars and transforming them into mechs to battle it out over Tokyo. Yeah, it's literally as insane as the description. The name of the game is called Gyrozetta Jump Fiesta and it's due out later this year during the summer. Based on the video there could also be a 3DS version in works. Enjoy.
