World of Warcraft will be down for extended maintenance this morning. When the game comes back online, it will be accompanied by Patch 4.3. The patch, dubbed "The Hour of Twilight," adds a new raid and more.
The new Dragon Soul raid lets players confront Deathwing, the mad dragon who tore apart the world at the beginning of the Cataclysm expansion. There are eight bosses in total with a slew of new loot for you to earn. Rogues will have a chance to acquire a set of legendary daggers known as the Fangs of the Fathers. If you don't have a guild to raid with, you can use the new Raid Finder to automatically find 24 other people to tackle Dragon Soul with.
There's plenty of new content for non-raiders to enjoy, too. Patch 4.3 introduces three new five-man dungeons into the Caverns of Time. If you're looking for more light-hearted entertainment, you can check out the completely revamped Darkmoon Faire, with brand new games and rewards.
Patch 4.3 also brings a host of balance changes. For the full list of revisions and new features, check out the official notes.
