Wrecked: Revenge Revisited Release Date Coming Soon

The upcoming XBLA combat-racer, Wrecked: Revenge Revisited is coming soon but before it gets a legitimate release date, it needs to be certified first. The developers have already confirmed that the final certification process will get underway shortly.

According to XBLA Fans, Wrecked must go through two grueling certification phases and developer Supersonic Software had this to share with their loyal fans…

Sorry for the silence! We’d love to give you definite news but it’s not possible unfortunately.The game has been in for first submission and (as is normal) came back with a few issues to be resolved. We’re ironing these out now and hope to be into the platform holders for second (and hopefully final) submission very, very soon.At the point it passes submission 505 Games and the platform holders will agree a release date and we’ll let you know as soon as we can.We’re more eager than anyone to have a release date and see the game out there! In the meantime, we’ve been working with 505 on some cool new trailers, which we hope to be able to share with you very soon.

Well that’s good news for anyone who has been eager to blow their friends to smithereens in some good ‘ole fashioned multiplayer combat racing. At least the good news is that the team is working through the first phase of certification and will be ironing out the kinks for a smooth-as-butter submission for the second phase of certification, which, after that point, the game will be able to receive a legitimate release date from the publisher.

In the meantime, you can keep an eye on the Official Website for new trailers and assets, for those of you who have a tough time waiting for the game to release.
