Zone Of The Enders HD Collection Gets A Limited Edition
Zone of the Enders HD Collection will be getting a special limited edition release and, while it may be humble compared to what most other limited editions tend to offer these days, fans of the PlayStation 2 series of games created by the legendary Hideo Kojima will likely want to pick this bad boy up all the same.
It seems like every other game that comes out these days is also available in a limited edition, special edition, or uuber mother$%^&$#@ kickass edition. It’s rare, though, for one of the oodles of HD collections to receive a similar treatment.
As for Zone of the Enders HD Collection, the folks at Konami are offering a nice couple of bonuses for your additional $20 on top of the game’s regular price ($59.99 total). If you hurry and snap up a copy of the limited edition, then you’ll net yourself a CD of remixed tracks from the game, as well as a 100-page artbook.
Zone of the Enders is an action-heavy adventure series that puts the player in control of giant mech suits. Both the original Zone of the Ender and its sequel, The Second Runner, have been given a graphical upgrade for the HD Collection re-release.
A lot of folks missed out on these titles from the creator of the Metal Gear series when they first released for the PlayStaiton 2. Now you can relive all of the excitement for $39.99 when Zone of the Enders HD Collection lands on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime this fall. Or, as was pretty much the point of this entire post, you can fork over another 20 bucks and enjoy the game’s art and music as part of the limited edition.
