6 Exclusive Stoker Images Are Here To Send A Chill Down Your Spine
There are many adjectives that can be used to describe Stoker, the first American film from Oldboy director Chan-wook Park. The movie is haunting, strange, beautiful, seductive, horrific, stunning, scary, provocative, and striking… and I’d go on but I still have my full review to write for next week. But all those words could just as easily be applied to the six new exclusive images from the film that we are more than happy to bring you today.
With the Sundance Film Festival hit due out in theaters next weekend, we have been given the pleasure of premiering a crop of new stills and behind the scenes photos from the new thriller, which stars Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, Jacki Weaver and Dermot Mulroney. You can check out the collection of pictures below and be sure to click on each one to see it in high-res so that you may soak up every last detail.
Based on an original screenplay by Wentworth Miller, the story centers on a young woman named India Stoker (Wasikowska) who is thrown when she learns that her father (Mulroney) has died unexpectedly. But it doesn’t take long for her grief to turn to curiosity when her mysterious Uncle Charlie (Goode), a man whom she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unbalanced mother (Kidman). Working to discover who Charlie really is, India becomes fascinated by him and slowly uncovers his dark secret.
Stoker will be in theaters on March 1st and you can see more from the film in our Blend Film Database.
