AMC Goes To Summer Camp

This summer, instead of running around and playing in the sweltering heat, your kids are invited to watch free movies at AMC movie theaters across the country. And yeah, adults, you’re welcome to come along too.

As stated in a press release, AMC is introducing their new “Summer MovieCamp” program to add to the summer fun. In 40 U.S. cities from June 21 to August 9, they are showing free G and PG-rated Hollywood movies every Wednesday morning at 10:30 am.

Included in their slate are the following family-friendly flicks: Ice Age, Because of Winn-Dixie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Madagascar, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, March of the Penguins, Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and Shrek 2. Plus a handful of others that nobody cares about like Racing Stripes and Scooby Doo 2.
