New Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Trailer Arrives To Celebrate The Memorial Day Holiday
Today here in America is Memorial Day, the day in which citizens think back to all of those who have served and died in the armed forces to protect peace and freedom in the United States (this is mostly done by getting together with a bunch of friends and doing a bit of barbequing and drinking). But in addition to thinking of those in the Army, Navy, Air Force, we should also take part of our day to remember that time Abraham Lincoln took an axe and worked to rid the word of the hellbeasts known as vampire.
In celebration of the holiday weekend, 20th Century Fox has released a brand new trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Check it out below.
In addition to releasing the trailer, the studio has also set out a press release announcing that they will be hosting a special screening for members of our armed services aboard the Navy aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in June. Benjamin Walker, who stars as the titular president, will be present at the screening, as will other members of the cast and crew. Said Walker about the event, “This is really exciting for me to meet the ABE’s crew and screen for them our film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I hope it brings them excitement, goodwill and a taste of home.”
Directed by Timur Bekmambetov and based on the book by Seth Grahame-Smith, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is the untold story of how our 16th president was not only one of the greatest leaders of all time, but also was a devoted soldier in the war against the vampires. The film arrives in theaters on June 22nd and you can read more about it in our Blend Film Database.
