Al gore may have not won the Presidency, but he has found another career to fill the void.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Gore will be featured in a documentary about global warming, titled An Inconvenient Truth. Paramount Picture's new specialty division has acquired the worldwide rights to the film, under Participant Productions.
An Inconvenient Truth had its world premiere at last month's Sundance Film Festival. Unlike many other Sundance "indie" films released at the past festival, this one does not feature any big names or huge stars (no offense, Mr. Gore). John Lesher of Paramount calls the film, "A visually mesmerizing and shocking look at the serious and dire state of our planet." He adds: " We are very proud to help Al Gore expose the urgency of global warming to the widest possible audience."
The film is about the science behind the global warming issue, weaved with the former Vice President's personal history and longtime quest to spread facts about the deadly condition. It's good to see someone involved in politics trying to fix problems instead of adding new ones into circulation.
