American Reunion Video Has Cast Talking About Changes And Shocking Moments

It’s been nearly a decade since the American Pie franchise has had a proper sequel. Excluding the direct-to-video movies, the last American Pie sequel was back in 2003 with American Wedding. And now, more than ten years after the original changed the way we look at pie, Jim and his friends are getting back together for American Reunion.

Set to release in theaters on April 6, American Reunion brings the core cast of the original films back together to celebrate their reunion, and revisit the past. If you’ve seen the trailer for the film, a lot of what’s in the video below (courtesy of iTunes) may be familiar to you, but it also includes the cast of the film as they talk about their characters and where things pick up in the latest installment of the story.

Jim faces a sex-related challenge, while his dad is drinking and buddying up with Stifler, there’s possible awkward tension involving old relationships, and Stifler’s still pretty much the same guy he was in high school. Go figure! I actually like what Hannigan said about finding a balance between nostalgia and an entertaining stand-alone movie. If she's right, American Reunion should be a lot of fun.

Directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, American Reunion stars Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Seann William Scott and Tara Reid. For more information, videos and photos, check out our Blend Film Database.
