Zooey Deschanel can act AND write music. George Clooney can act AND direct. Now Andrea Savage hopes to add her name to that list.
According to Variety, Savage, who will play a role in Jay Roach’s upcoming Dinner for Schmucks, has signed on to write two comedies for Castle Rock and Twentieth Century Fox, respectively. The first will be a feature for Castle Rock about a group of women on a relaxing vacation weekend. Since this sounds super boring, I imagine something will actually happen during the vacation. The second will be a pilot for Fox, which will be a starring vehicle for her as well.
