Apparently I should have seen Race to Witch Mountain along with the rest of America, because its director is not going away any time soon. Andy Fickman's name has been attached to like every other project announcement in the last few weeks, and now he's added on one more, which will actually be his next project, not just another one he flirts with and puts on hold for years.
Fickman will soon begin casting You Again, a female-driven comedy that THR reports will start filming laster this summer. Of course, he's making it for Disney, which seems to have bought Fickman entirely at this point. The movie is about a woman who discovers her brother is marrying her high school arch-nemesis, then sets out to prove that the fiancee is awful. It's like My Best Friend's Wedding, with just that touch of creepy incest.
