Ann-Margret And Colin Hanks Feeling Lucky
Dexter has kind of perfected the notion of a serial killer whom audiences love, and now it seems the indie comedy Lucky is taking the concept and running away with it. Variety reports that the film will follow a "fledgling serial killer who wins the lottery and attempts to pursue his lifelong crush," presumably with the plan to kill her at some point afterward. And yes, this is a comedy!
Colin Hanks, Ari Graynor (who stole every scene in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist), Ann-Margret and Jeffrey Tambor have all joined the cast, with Hanks presumably playing the serial killer and Graynor as the object of his affection. Mad Men fanatic have probably already made the connection that Hanks had a role on the show and Ann-Margret was featured heavily in last week's episode. Cast Jon Hamm or Vincent Kartheiser somewhere, and you might have a completely unexpected built-in fanbase for this film.
