If you’re a rapper who wants to act, then odds are you’ll be rumored to play B.A. in the upcoming A-Team movie. It’s not like Mr. T was a rapper, so that the film’s producers would be so focused on hiring a musician to remake the part really makes absolutely no sense. Mr. T was a bouncer and a celebrity security guard for stars like Muhammed Ali. If they want to get this right then they should focus on randomly picking someone out of Mike Tyson’s entourage.
Still the rapper rumors persist. The latest is The Game, who according to Blackfilm’s vague and mysterious sources is being touted as a top contender for the part. Previously rumored were people like Common and Ice Cube.
The Game is no more or less qualified than any of those other names. Might as well throw them in a hat and pick one out randomly, they’ll all be equally awful. The only surprising thing here is that no one has yet considered 50 Cent.
