IESB says Sophia Bush may be one of the top contenders to play the part of Wonder Woman in Joss Whedon’s long pending Wonder Woman movie. When they asked her if she’s talked to anyone about Wonder Woman she said, “Maybe, we’ll see.”
Stunning stuff isn’t it? If you’re an up and coming actress who wants to get bigger and better things, here’s a tip: Whenever anyone asks you about a rumored attachment involving you and a high profile movie, deny nothing. If you deny it, the rumor goes away and your name stops being mentioned. If you make coy, non-committal responses movie nerds will start buying posters of you to hang over their beds. Even if you have no shot at the movie, your name is out there and that’s a good thing.
So who is this latest actress who will almost certainly not be in Wonder Woman? She’s beautiful and brunette. Two of the qualifications for the part of an Amazonian superhero. She’s also been on “One Tree Hill”, a show which no self-respecting Wonder Woman fan would likely ever watch. Wait, are there Wonder Woman fans? Well if there were any, they wouldn’t watch it. She’s also in The Hitcher, which makes it even more important for her name to get out there in connection with a rumor like this, since every time someone says her name they also have to say “She’s in The Hitcher."
