A few weeks ago Sacha Gervasi was just a guy who wrote the screenplay for a middilng Tom Hanks film (The Terminal) and used to be a roadie for a heavy metal band no one remembered. But after he made a documentary about that band, Anvil! The Story of Anvil, he suddenly became a big deal, and is using that newfound fame to team up with.... Keanu Reeves?

Yup, you heard that right. The Playlist heard from Gervasi himself that Reeves will star in his next film, Henry's Crime, described by the Playlist as "a zany sounding rom-com with literary allusions, crime drama shades and a protagonist confronting same major life-altering issues." Gervasi won't be directing, since his next directorial project will be a biopic about Fantasy Island star Herve Villechaize.

If you live in a city where it's screening, definitely check out Anvil-- or at least take a look at the trailer below. After you watch that and inevitably love it, we'll regroup to figure out what on earth Gervasi has planned for Keanu.
