Arnold Schwarzenegger Tweets Pic Of Head Injury From Set Of The Last Stand
It’s not a tumor! But it is a minor head injury that Arnold Schwarzenegger sustained on the set of The Last Stand, a border-patrol thriller that stars the ex-governor as an aging lawman who must make a – you guessed it – last stand when a high-profile drug kingpin escapes from the FBI and makes a dash toward Mexico. “Got a little banged up on set today. Thanks to the medical staff who got me back in action an hour later!” Schwarzenegger tweeted on his official Twitter page. Take a closer look below:
Schwarzenegger appears to be a pretty active Tweeter from director Jee-woon Kim’s set. Earlier, he shared a cast picture of himself, Luis Guzman, Johnny Knoxville and an armed Jaimie Alexander casually posed in costume. The 64-year-old ex-politician loves Twitter, posting shots with Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis from the set of Expendables 2 at one point, as well. Someone’s going to have to slap a Twitter embargo on this guy before long.
I think we’re all slightly interested in The Last Stand to see how the director of The Good, the Bad and the Weird figures out how to use this once-great action hero who might be past his prime. At least, from the looks of the Twit pic, Ah-nold’s giving it all that he has … spilling blood for the benefit of a stunt. Unless he tripped on his cane and banged his head on his trailer door. We may never know.
