New Avengers: Age Of Ultron Concept Art Reveals Vision, Quicksilver And Hawkeye
We're almost there, people! All this week we've been bringing you brand new pieces of Avengers: Age of Ultron concept art, with each new day delivering artist renditions of two different characters. Today, however, we have a special treat. We are getting not just two heroes, but three!
As you can see both above and below, Marvel has once again officially released two new pieces of Avengers 2 concept art, only this time we're getting first looks at Vision, Quicksilver and Hawkeye - and they're all in the process of doing serious battle with Ultron's robot army.
Cool as it is to see Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Quicksilver again, the real headliner here is definitely Paul Bettany's Vision, even though he still remains largely a mystery. Here we get to see his flowing gold cape and we even get some idea of his coloration, but he's sadly still very far off in the distance, preventing us from getting a really good look. Considering The Avengers: Age of Ultron is still about nine months away from release, he may stay that way for a while still (unless something big pops up tomorrow at San Diego Comic-Con!).
Getting these two new pieces of artwork also means that we can continue to build the larger image that all of the pictures come together to form. We are still waiting to see Mark Ruffalo's Hulk and Chris Hemsworth's Thor, but here is what we have so far:
The final two pieces of Avengers 2 concept art will go online tomorrow, so stay tuned for that. Also, we'll be on the ground in San Diego covering what is expected to be an absolutely massive Marvel Studios panel, so be sure to come back and read all of the big news headlines that come out of the event, as well as our reactions.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron, written and directed by Joss Whedon, will be out in theaters on May 1st and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, James Spader, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Claudia Kim, Don Cheadle and Paul Bettany.
