Avengers Assemble In New Images And Magazine Covers

We may still be months away from seeing The Avengers on the big screen, but readers of Empire magazine will get to see the super heroes featured on the cover of this week’s issue, which hits stands on January 26th. According to Empire, it’s a doozy! Check out some photos ahead...
Empire Online gave Avengers fans an early look at the various covers for this week’s issue on their site. Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America will be featured on the front cover, which takes care to declare the title of the movie loud and clear beneath the characters. Below is the Iron Man cover, which reveals Tony Stark sans mask but looking metal-clad in his red-iron suit.
And here's Scarlett Johansson looking lethal as Black Widow...
You can view the other covers here.
Meanwhile, ComingSoon posted the cover of the subscriber-only issue, along with some photos from within the magazine, a couple of which you can see below.
?Here’s Hawkeye and Black Widow having what looks like a serious conversation. What do you suppose they’re talking about?
The caption for this photo of Fury and Steve Rogers is described as a “rare lo-tech moment.” Any guesses as to what’s in the folder Fury is showing to Captain America?

At present, she’s an Assistant Managing Editor who spends much of her time brainstorming and editing features, analyzing site data, working with writers and editors on content planning and the workflow, and (of course) continuing to obsess over the best movies and TV shows (those that already exist, and the many on the way).
